Cavallo - Insignis Comfort tall boots

The Insignis is a popular model for dressage and show horse riders.

  • Long concealed zipper at the front inside
  • Very high dressage bow
  • Smaller instep
  • Reinforced outer shaft

Within the Insignis style of boots there is a couple of variations, here is our comparison -

Insignis - This model is produced with full grain leather, it has standard size ankles and comes standard with no extra detailing.

Insignis SLIM - This model is produced in the same full grain leather and is made narrower through the ankle. If you have smaller calves and ankles this boot will be a tighter fit.

Insignis Lux - This model is produced in the brush calf leather which is slightly more rigid and the finish is more shiny than that of the full grain leather. The grip leather panel on the inside of the boot will be black in colour.

Insignis Lux SLIM -This model is produced in the brush calf leather which is slightly more rigid and the finish is more shiny than that of the full grain leather. The grip leather panel on the inside of the boot will be black in colour. The fit is made narrower through the ankle. If you have smaller calves and ankles this boot will be a tighter fit.

Insignis Lux SLIM SE - This model features the same benefits of the Insignis Lux SLIM however this boot is produced without the leather grip panel on the inside of the boot.

Insignis Lyra - This model is produced in full grain leather and features detailing over the bow and toe of the boot. It can also be ordered in the Insignis Lyra SLIM style which of course is narrower through the ankle.

Insignis Comfort - This mode features a rear zip - all the other Insignis models have front zips. This model is produced with full grain leather and it can also be ordered in the Insignis Comfort SLIM style which of course is narrower through the ankle.

Measuring Guide

Wear the breeches and socks that you would wear whilst riding.

Calf width is measured at the widest part of the calf.

The height of the boot is measured from the floor to the crease behind the knee. Add approximately 2cm to allow for the boot to drop. If you prefer a shorter boot then consider this when measuring.
